Rovers were back to winning ways with a 4 - 1 win over the spartens. Over the last 2 weeks the club has found it hard to field a complete team for various reasons and only just scraped by again. This win was needed and hopefully the team will all be back togather next week.

Marcus continued his rich vien of form and added to goals to his name, with gaffer Frankie Bircham out for a period of time injured, Marcus is having a great run in the team and really deserves his place at the moment, Frankie may not find it so easy to slot back in should he play again this season!!
Peter and Darren both netted in the 4 - 1 win and also produced a fine display. Both Dean and Zippy were solid as usual.
Gaffer Frankie Bircham shared his comments:
" We need to get the team all back together asap. Tonights game was good to watch and at times we played some really good football with some excerlent passing. We are still missing so many chances which we will really have to start working on, better teams will punish us in future. Saying that i am really happy with the win and after a couple of S**T weeks i hope we will be back on track from here on."
