Queens Park Rovers FC came back from there disapointing loss last week with a 5 - 1 victory over FC Dave.
Gaffer Frankie Bircham opened the scoring with a very neat finish with his weaker left boot.
Frankie's comments were " I was very pleased with the goal, it was the type of goal that Peter normally scores. To win the ball off there player, to beat another and shot with my left foot is not normal for me. Its either a shot or tap in if i am lucky."
This was followed by 2 goals from the Man Of The Match Darren Joseph who had a fantastic game.
Darrens comments to Frankie were " I had to play better than last week and was happy with the way i played this week, i think we are strong enough to win the league. But i must catch Peter and claim top goal scorer."
Peter Bircham then added another 2 fantastic goals to his total tally and to make the score 5.
Peters comments to Frankie were " I cant pick which goal was better, i was happy with them both and was just happy to play a part tonight."
Frankie Bircham was quick to comment on the rest. " Once again Zippy pulled off some fantastic saves, its great to have him back playing at his best. I thought Gary played well tonight, he done lots of running and was unlucky to score. Marcus i thought had one of his better games of the season, he is improving each week and i am very happy to have him in my team. Danny Casey played more minutes tonight, and thats something that we are going to do even more so next season. I cant fault Danny's effort tonight, as usual he played his heart out. Dean didnt score tonight but his all round game was and is getting better, the goals will come back, but he is still playing a big part in the team."
Frankie was also involved in deep discusions with Bernard Puts after the game who was there cheering on his fellow team mates. " Bernard knows that he is still a massive part of the team and a original member. He is also aware that we will be without Darren for most of next season and he will play instead. He knows that he must get himself fit and hopefully will make a big impact."
