Queens Park Rovers FC made it 3 wins out of 3 with a very impressive 6 - 0 win over Racing Maylan.
Rovers controlled the game from the start and gaffer Frankie Bircham was quick to comment on each of his team mates performances.
On Man Of The Match Peter Bircham:
" Peter was his usual brilliant self again this week, not only did he hit a hat trick, he continues to drive the team with his leadership on the pitch. Another star performance from Bircham senior."
On Darren Joseph:
" Darren is going to be missed over the next couple of weeks. No matter who i bring in to replace him, i dont know if they can. Darren had another fine game and added another goal to his total."
On Gary Bidgway:
" Aother goal for gary and another 100% committed performance. Showed us his silky skills yet again and i really believe that he will be up there for top goal scorer this season.
On Marcus O'Brien:
" He didnt score all last season but nicked one tonight. In my eyes he has given 3 great performances in the first 3 games, he is looking really good at the moment and topped it with another cracking show tonight."
On Andrew Jackson:
" Zippy didnt have the busiest of nights, but when needed he was his solid self between the sticks. The clean sheet says it all."
On Danny Casey:
" Danny had a fine game tonight and is playing more minutes this season which is good for him and the team. Unlucky not to score tonight."
On Dean Oliver:
" Dean should have and could have scored 2 or 3 tonight. His team play has improved and we are all benifiting from it. Will have a tuff time filling Darrens boots while he is away."
Regards Frankie Bircham
